Good Morning. Found another fun band. I love seeing a band live that I have not previously heard. These guys (And Gal) blew my mind. I melted onto the floor and someone slipped on me. That's about how awesome they were live. Go see them if you get the chance.

Black Mountain is nice on the Ear.

It's Just A Cigarette

On my last trip to NYC I stopped by Piano's to see an old pal (Tony Pratt) and ended up watching this band "Princess Chelsea" Do their sound check. They were pretty cool. Anyways, I stumbled across their Video. I like it.

Mom

It's been a while since i posted on the old blog-a-roo. To be honest, I have not felt very social as of late and didn't have much desire to just put it all out there. My mother passed away a week ago yesterday, this was by far the toughest week of my life. She was a wonderful woman who always put others first and I'll keep her spirit alive by trying my hardest to do the same. Her cancer forced my entire family to put everything on hold and to look deeper into who we are and what we all mean to each other. I can say that I've learned more about relationships in the last 8 months than the last 32 years. She has brought me closer to my wife, my son, sisters and my father. I wish that she was here today to see what she has done for us. I love you mom.

 I'm writing all of this on my Blog of all places because I'm hoping that some of my friends will take the time to read it. This would be my advice to you.

 Take time with your family NOW. I spent the last couple of years on the rat race wheel just spinning. I never felt like I took the time to slow down and enjoy the ones around me (My Family). As much as it hurts to lose my mother in a span of only 8 months I feel blessed that I had that time to reconnect and re learn who she was and what she really meant to me and my family. Some of you will not get that chance.

So take them out to dinner! Cook for them! Just make time to be around a bit more, I assure you that it's a good thing.
